Three Coastal Cottages in Blouberg, Cape Town

Corner Cottage is an adorable romantic little self-contained hideaway in West Beach, 1 km from the beach.

The private enclosed magical garden has a large stainless-steel bathtub set under trees, surrounded by fairy-lights. Relax, with your partner, in a warm bubble bath underneath the stars. The large garden tub can also be used as a splash pool to cool off during the hot summer months. 

A hammock sways between two tall Palm trees, for lazy afternoons.

The cozy living-room has sections of transparent roofing, allowing natural sunlight to filter through to the entire room. There is a wood burning indoor fireplace, a Smart TV with Netflix, Showmax, Youtube premium (no ads) etc. 

 High speed fibre internet / wifi and an ethernet port for gamers.

 

Fully fitted self-catering country style kitchen with luxury modern appliances and kitchenware. Smeg kettle, Nespresso Machine with some complimentary espresso pods, Air-fryer, microwave, oven/stove, fridge, retro toaster, a dishwasher (because who wants to wash dishes while on holiday) A little portable washing machine can be made available i required and there is a fold-up clothes drying rack.

 

The dreamy bedroom has a comfortable queen bed adorned with cotton percale bedding. There is plenty of packing space. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, loo and basin. Thick quality towels and a toiletry welcome pack is provided. The Cottage is supplied with clear borehole water, which runs on a pump system,  so guests must please ensure that they have plenty of bottled drinking water in case there is the inconvenience of load shedding.

 

​The cottage is ideally situated within close proximity to the beach, local restaurants, shopping centres, Blouberg Hospital and 50m from a MyCity bus stop where the routes connect all over town.

​

The cottage is pet friendly for small to medium dogs. Not appropriate for large breeds, as the garden is not big enough to accommodate them.

A doggie bed, food bowl, water bowl, poop scoop and blankets are provided for your pet/s. Maximum 2 dogs. No more than 2 pets please.

Pets are not to be left unattended at the cottage!

No incessant barkers, diggers or chewers are welcome.

 

Corner Cottage is part of West Beach Cottages, semi-detached to Blouberg Cottage, but still totally separate and private.

Corner cottages' bedroom window overlooks a section of Blouberg Cottages' beautiful garden. The window is surrounded by Bougainvillea privacy plants. 

Bins are emptied on Friday mornings, whereby someone will access the cottage garden area to take out the large municipal bin.

The bin will be put back after being emptied.

 

Corner cottage is very private and secure, with all the modern luxury amenities to ensure a relaxing, enjoyable, and romantic getaway.

 

Parking is right outside the cottage, up on the allocated pavement parking area.

 

There are security cameras on all outside property perimeters / parking areas, as well as an electric fence and armed response.

ONLINE MANAGER / SECURITY CAN BE CALLED DURING CASES OF EMERGENCIES

DURING LOAD SHEDDING, THE PUMP SUPPLYING WATER TO THE COTTAGE WILL STOP, AS IT RUNS ON ELECTRICITY, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE PLENTY OF BOTTLED DRINKING WATER FOR LOAD SHEDDING INCONVENIENCES. SCHEDULES CAN BE DOWNLOADED ONTO YOUR PHONE

 

HOUSE KEEPING IS AVAILABLE ONCE A WEEK AND MUST PLEASE BE PRE-ARRANGED WHEN BOOKING.
